Nicki Minaj Announces New Album Queen

The album was announced at tonight's Met Gala 2018 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

"The only thing with Cardi that really, really, really hurt me was the first interview [Cardi B] did after the first interview she did after "MotorSport" came out, it just really hurt me", Minaj said. "But 'MotorSport, I kinda felt ambushed". Nicki is a close friend of Jeremy's, and in 2016 they attended the Met Gala together. Minaj said she's also filming a documentary that will focus on Queen's creation. "And it's just like, 'See, it's just something that needed to be talked about'". The latest development finds Minaj allegedly throwing shade at the Met Gala. "This is why I can not f-ck with nobody'".

This comes after Nicki opened up in a teary interview with New Zealnad radio DJ Zane Louw on his Apple Music Beats 1 radio show in April. "Like, I've seen so many Hispanic artists - females - work with each other, and it benefits them so well.... people get entertained by other people's problems and conflict".

There's apparently no bad blood between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B though they have been trading harsh words about each other recently. "What is it that people expect me to do or say?" she asked. They even looked as if they were enjoying each other's company! "So how were those changes gonna happen if I didn't "change" my verse?" she tweeted at the time. After the track came out, fans decoded Cardi and Nicki's verse's and suggested that the rappers were taking shots at one another on the track. During her red carpet appearance, the "Anaconda" performer revealed that her 2014 LP The Pinkprint follow up will be titled Queen and will drop June 15. "That really, really hurt me".
