Mega Man 11 will release for Nintendo Switch in Europe and North America on October 2nd, and in Japan on October 4th. Get the latest details on the new Double Gear system, Robot Masters, and more! It's a combination of both the Speed Gear and the Power Gear which can only be utilized when Mega Man is at critical health. You can turn each gear on and off at will with a quick button press, but pushing Mega Man to his limit will cause him to overheat, preventing him from using the Double Gear system until he's cooled off a bit. The game will focus on Mega Man defeating the Robot Masters and absorbing their powers, being able to swap between the powers.

The developer has also confirmed that the Mega Man X Legacy Collection is hitting this summer, spread across Mega Man X Legacy Collection and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 and featuring all eight games on two separate volumes.

Sony announced new details on the latest installment of Capcom's "Mega Man" franchise, which will release on october 2. You'll also have the Power Gear, letting you turn your Mega Buster up to eleven and unleash all sorts of new pain on anything in your way. This will boost Mega Man's speed and power in a new twist to the gameplay.

Super fighting robot Mega Man is set to make his triumphant return later this year. A deluxe "Amiibo" edition of Mega Man 11 will also include a small statue of the character among bonus items.

But you'll have to use the new abilities wisely.

Pre-orders are available now through Capcom's official website for $29.99.

"A variety of difficulty modes makes this the ideal opportunity to experience Mega Man for the first time!"
