Marcelo Predicts Neymar Switch, Says Cristiano Ronaldo 'Doesn't Own Real Madrid'

Real Madrid vice-captain Marcelo says he sees no reason why Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar can not play together for the club, while acknowledging that president Florentino Perez has the final say on everything that happens at the Bernabeu.

"Cristiano does not own Real Madrid", said the Brazilian, as quoted by SporTV.

Former Real Madrid stars Francisco Pavon and Julio Baptista expect Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at the club.

The report states that the Portugal striker is incensed over the failure to follow through on a bumper new contract promised to him in 2017 by president Florentino Perez.

As Cristiano Ronaldo tries to clear up his comments after the UCL final, the FC crew read between the lines and ponder his future at Real Madrid. The impressive goal left the Real Madrid star impressed as he smiled and passed the ball back to his son.

"Madrid always have to find the best players and I think Neymar will play for Real Madrid one day".

Cristiano Ronaldo didn't appear in Real's new kit promo after speculation about his future at the club.

"I've already said that two, three years ago".

Led by Ronaldo as Portugal were sent off to the World Cup at a Lisbon reception held by president Marcelo Rebelo De Sousa Wednesday, the five-time Ballon d'Or victor said: "What I can guarantee is a great ambition of all of us players and technical team".

"I just don't know if you get it because of the titles you've won, the season you've completed or just how good you are as a player".

Portuguese daily Record affirmed on Thursday that Ronaldo had made an "irreversible" decision to leave the Bernabeu, a story which Goal has confirmed with sources inside the Champions League winners. "Just after winning was not the best moment".
