Race 3 New Zealand Box Office: Salman Khan & Family - Creating Waves Worldwide!

After grossing the highest figures of the year for any Bollywood film, on Friday and Saturday, with Rs 29.17 crores and Rs 38.14 crores respectively, the Remo D'Souza directorial went one notch higher, minting Rs 39.16 crores on Sunday. This brings the film's total tally to Rs 100.94 crore.

Race 3 has received mixed reviews from critics.

"Race 3 records a huge start, despite pre-Eid making a dent in its business, emerges as the biggest opener of 2018 so far", trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. The action thriller has emerged as the second highest opening weekend earner of the year so far after period saga Padmaavat that had made Rs 114 crore, but it had a five-day extended weekend compared to Race 3's three days.

Salman Khan star movies "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", "Sultan," and "Tiger Zinda Hai", have in the past crossed the Rs 100 crore mark (1.1 million pounds) in just three days.

That Race 3 would pass the opening weekend test with flying colours was a given.

Let me tell you that the film Race 3 is doing great box office collection at the box office and the film has done more than 100 crores collection in three opening days.

However, the Saturday and Sunday collections despite negative reviews flooding in since Friday prove that audiences, like Bhai, don't care about critics at all and will ensure "Race 3" is declared a victor.

With the next big-budget movie "Sanju", starring Ranbir Kapoor releasing on June 29, 2018, "Race 3' has another week to race at the box-office". Despite bad reviews, Salman's Race 3 has become the biggest opener of 2018 so far. It remained short of overtaking Tiger Zinda Hai.

From cinema lovers to movie reviewers, everyone nailed this film for its mediocre storyline, not so impressive performances and unengaging screenplay.

Salman's record stands unchallenged as other stars are not even close to this number.
