Guy Pearce commented on working with Spacey recently and insinuated that he was groped by the actor when they were filming L.A. Confidential in 1997.

Spacey, a two-time Oscar victor, has been accused of sexual assault and inappropriate behaviour by numerous men since American actor Anthony Rapp alleged past year that Spacey had climbed on top of him on a bed when Rapp was 14 and Spacey 26. The two other victims contacted authorities in February; one said Spacey had assaulted him in Lambeth in 2008, and the other claimed the actor sexually abused him in Gloucester in 2013. "Um, wonderful actor, incredible actor. Um".

He added it was a "slightly hard time with Kevin". when they shot the 1997 film.

Australian actor Guy Pearce has alluded to an unpleasant encounter with disgraced Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey.

Spacey was one of the first stars to be accused of sexual misconduct in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal. "I'm beyond horrified to hear his story", a statement from Spacey read. I have loved and had romantic relationships with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man.

Since then, Mr. Spacey hasn't gone out in public at all. "I want to deal with this honestly and openly and that starts with examining my own behavior".

No other details were revealed about the review, but it was claimed at the time that the information had been passed on to Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office's Sex Crimes Task Force.

Spacey was promptly fired from his Netflix series House of Cards, and has remained under the radar as similar allegations have come to light.

Rapp said that Spacey had made a sexual advance and laid on top of him. His scenes were reshot with Christopher Plummer stepping in for Spacey.

Since past year, Spacey has been the subject of numerous allegations of sexual assault and sexual misconduct dating as far back as 1986.
