Thibaut Courtois told he can leave Chelsea

The Stamford Bridge outfit slipped to a 2-0 defeat to Premier League Champions Manchester City earlier today in the Community Shield, with the Blues looking devoid of any real attacking spark without Hazard in their starting XI.

Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola takes the position of assistant first-team coach and will share the load with Luca Gotti, while former "Blues" goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini remains Sarri's assistant.

Sarri admits City are also hindered by players absent on post-World Cup breaks, but the situation contrasts with Chelsea's as he is new to the role. 'It depends especially on him I think. It is my first time and I want to win.

Courtois has entered the final year of his deal at the Stamford Bridge and has intimated that he will walk away for free next summer if he's not allowed to join Real Madrid.

"I am comfortable here and want to win new titles and trophies", said Pedro.

During his time in Russian Federation at the World Cup, Hazard has said things such as: "After 6 wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different".

New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri believes Willian will still be at the club beyond next week's transfer deadline.

Sarri refused to be drawn into commenting on what has been said by Courtois' agent in the past week and insisted that he would have to talk to his goalkeeper himself before a decision is made.

"He knows what I think".

Sarri, who has not won a trophy in his career, said: "The match for us is very hard for one reason: they have worked all together for two years".

Bournemouth will be hoping to wrap up the signing of Colombian defensive midfielder Jefferson Lerma for a club-record fee.

Another player still being linked with a Chelsea exit is Brazil winger Willian.
