Here are three takeaways from the Carolina Panthers bout against the Buffalo Bills. The Buffalo Bills wideout claimed the Panthers were "bad" for him and that he wished he'd started his career with a more "accurate" quarterback.

"If you would've put me with any other QB, let's be real, you know what I'm saying?"

Less than a week after Kelvin Benjamin blasted former teammate Cam Newton, it appears it could take a while before the hatchet gets buried. It just felt like I wasn't in that position. That may not be the case anymore, as Newton didn't seem able to say what he wanted when approaching Benjamin in-person. The beef stems from this quote from Benjamin speaking to The Athletic on his time in Carolina. Benjamin didn't want to talk to Newton and he didn't want to talk to reporters about Newton, saying: "I mean, I'm just moving on from it I guess". Charlotte NBC News anchor Nick Carboni posted Benjamin's ripping of Newton on Twitter. At one point, Newton motioned to Davis to leave before Newton, with his hands folded behind his back, followed Benjamin around the field.

The meeting comes after Benjamin made comments criticizing his former team, Carolina, and quarterback, Newton.

Benjamin eventually requested a trade and landed in Buffalo in the middle of last season for draft picks.
