Chelsea has started their premier league campaign impressively.

Newcastle were relatively comfortable in the Premier League last season but a lack of summer spending by owner Mike Ashley has raised concerns on the terraces that the potential for a relegation battle is there.

"Everyone was thinking to draw when they scored but we are Chelsea and we never give up", Hazard said.

Meanwhile, Jacob Murphy starts for Newcastle in place of on-loan Chelsea man Kenedy, who is ineligible to play against the Blues.

Brazil global Luiz only made 10 Premier League appearances last season due to a combination of injury problems and a fallout with former Chelsea boss Conte.

However, with the transfer window already shut for them, the Blues are still perceived to be in the danger of losing Eden Hazard.

He can be satisfied, though, that with Hazard due to return to full fitness soon, his side's attacking strengths should provide the breathing space needed to adjust. I think he's got that in his locker, he wants to show how clever he is at times. Thus, Hazard is expected to start against Newcastle United.

Chelsea will be hoping to keep up the pace at the summit of the Premier League if they can make it three wins on the trot for the new manager when they face former Napoli and Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez's Newcastle side on Sunday. Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso should slot into the full-back positions with the pairing of David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger making up the heart of the backline.

Dubravka, Yedlin, Clark, Fernandez, Schar, Dummett, Murphy, Diame, Ki, Ritchie, Rondon.

With Italy worldwide Jorginho having followed Sarri to Chelsea from Napoli and becoming the anchorman in the team's three-man midfield, many wondered how this would impact on Kante - a diminutive and dynamic player who has mastered the role of shielding a defence with his timely tackling and positional play.

But Sarri's style is evident throughout the rest of the team, too.
