Her other dog, a beagle named Guy, was flown here in November but Bogart was thought too old to make the long plane journey.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have welcomed a new addition into their royal family.

According to multiple sources, Markle and Prince Harry have been staying in the Castle of Mey in Scotland to round out their summer, travelling to the royal spot with Prince Charles and Camila, Duchess of Cornwall, who have holidayed there for years. The furry friend has reportedly been joining the newlyweds at their country getaway in the Cotswolds area and Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace in London.

As the couple greeted fans in Dublin last month, Elaine Adam-Stewart, 43, told Harry: "My husband also has red hair and he gave me five children - when are you and Meghan going to get going?" As stated in the Daily Express, the new four-legged companion has already adapted well to the climate: "The dog is already happy and well settled in their cottage".

However, it doesn't come as a surprise given Meghan has always been a dog-lover and was heartbroken when she had to leave Bogart, her beloved Labrador-German Shepherd mix behind in Toronto when she moved to the UK. A representative of Kensington Palace, however, declined to comment on the report.

OK, it's not an actual baby but a fur baby is one step closer, right?

The Royal family took a family pet. "I think he's doing just fine".
