Apple launches iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max in Singapore

Apple's new iPhones are here, and while the iPhone XS improves on the iPhone X in many ways, there's one area where the XS falls behind: battery capacity.

You can see how the new iPhones fared in the video (above). On the other hand, none of those who said they planned to buy the iPhone XR changed their mind when told how much that phone costs. They drop the phones onto concrete, of course.

However, it highlighted one major difference in Apple's "battery origami". "We want people to know that there is an alternative to having a phone that lacks juice and lets you down when you most need it". Another woman in the same line, Eli Di Lauro, who lives in the United Kingdom capital, said the larger size of the XS Max model was the biggest appeal for an upgrade. The Max is unquestionably big, but it's technically the same size as the iPhone 8 Plus. The site notes that both are in the ballpark of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus batteries. It's Apple's way of saying it's finally time to get over the fact there's no longer a headphone jack.

Airtel hasn't made any official announcement on providing eSIM connection for iPhone XS and XS Max.

After the iPhone XS was unveiled with little new, Huawei tweeted "Thank you for letting us be the real hero of the year", a tease for their upcoming Mate 20 Pro unveiling next month.

Apple recently released its latest version of software available for its mobile devices and iPads on Monday, and one of the most handy tools you can tap into through the new iOS 12 is its text editing shortcut. "I'm coming from the iPhone 7, so I'm due for an upgrade, and this just seemed like the right time".

Look for our review of the iPhone X and XS Max in the later part of next week. After all, we're moving away from the two-year replacement cycle as these devices get more durable.

Huawei's flagship certainly offers supreme specs but it also arrives at a very high price with this device starting from around £799.

Qualcomm said in July that Apple meant to exclusively use "competitor's modems" in its next iPhone release.
