Attorney For Deborah Ramirez: FBI Failed To Contact Witnesses

Kavanaugh testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee that he has never been blackout drunk.

Roche said he saw Kavanaugh return to their dorm suite drunk on multiple occasions, saying he would be "incoherent, stumbling".

'Jamie and Dave White hated each other, ' Kavanaugh said - implying that there may be lingering bad blood from the living situation that would motivate Roche's recent statements about him.

"An FBI supplemental background investigation that did not include an interview of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford - nor the witnesses who corroborate her testimony - can not be called an investigation", the lawyers said.

'In his words and his behavior, Judge Kavanaugh has shown contempt for the truth, for the process, for the rule of law, and for accountability, ' Roche wrote. Ramirez went public with allegations that while in his first year at Yale University, Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh placed his penis in front of her and caused her to involuntarily touch it during a drunken dormitory party.

The FBI report on Brett Kavanaugh will be revealed to Senators this morning.

"We were in a room together - our beds were 10 feet apart for a couple of months", Roche told CNN. He said, "I believe her because it matches the same story I heard 35 years ago, although the two of us have never talked". Early Thursday, the FBI sent the results of its investigation of Kavanaugh's sexual misconduct allegation to the Senate for review.

Kavanaugh told the Senate Judiciary Committee he never blacked out while drinking.

"In Brett's cases, if he is innocent, he should be cleared", Roche writes in the Slate op-ed.

Three of Brett Kavanaugh's college drinking buddies penned an op-ed to implore the Senate to not confirm the nominee - and acknowledged that they did so at the risk of their own livelihoods.

'Not only did I know that he wasn't telling the truth I knew that he knew that he wasn't telling the truth, ' he continued.

Collins is among the few wavering senators who could decide whether Kavanaugh is confirmed for a seat on the high court.

Feeding the anxiety was an unusually beefy presence of the U.S. Capitol Police, who were keeping demonstrators and frequently reporters at arms length by forming wedges around lawmakers walking through corridors. But they said they were compelled to speak out to maintain the integrity of the court.

Kavanaugh's testimony was widely praised by Republicans, including the President himself, who called it "very strong".

Appold said he had not been present at the party where the alleged incident had taken place but he said an eyewitness had told him about it soon after it occurred.

Collins, from ME, told reporters that Trump's remarks about Ford were 'just plain wrong'.

A number of Kavanaugh's detractors have accused the judge of lying about the term.

'Look at the Energy, look at the Polls. He is a fine man and great intellect.
