Hulk Hogan returns to WWE at Crown Jewel event!

His appearance Friday, as host of the "Crown Jewel" event, was his first public appearance for the company since 2015.

Big-name wrestlers such as Daniel Bryan and John Cena have refused to attend following the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi embassy in Turkey.

With Crown Jewel now just hours away, the final betting odds for the show have been released, revealing who will win the title matches on the main show, as well as the D-Generation X vs The Brothers of Destruction, and the eventual victor of the World Cup tournament.

A night later, on Smackdown, Bryan lost his match to AJ Styles and his place was taken by Samoa Joe in the title match.

After weeks of controversy over the event, last-minute card changes and big announcements, Crown Jewel has arrived. Ambrose is not scheduled for a match, but he's expected to cost Seth Rollins his World Cup match.

WWE signed a 10-year agreement with Saudi Arabia earlier this year worth somewhere between $450 million and $500 million, which ultimately seems to have persuaded the company to see "Crown Jewel" through.

Hulk Hogan's return to the WWE was going to be controversial no matter what, but this takes things to another level.

The New Day is one of the most popular tag teams in the WWE Universe and they were super popular with the Crown Jewel crowd and even got an incredibly special entrance.
