Shawn Michaels Hints That He’s Done Wrestling After Crown Jewel

This is getting interesting.

Lesnar had previously held the title for over 500 days before being defeated by Roman Reigns earlier this year, and the multi-time champion was rumoured to be leaving WWE for UFC in the immediate future.

The Universal Championship match ended with a shock victory by Brock Lesnar over Braun Strowman, after he hit "The Monster Among Men" with a whopping five F5s, Lesnar's signature finishing move.

Check below for the latest Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast with Jason Powell and guest John Canton. Once McMahon learned of Reigns' illness, he chose to make an offer to Brock Lesnar.

In fairness, there was a lot of watchable-to-good content on Crown Jewel, even if its bloated twelve-match card reeked too often of low-effort, TV-calibre fare.

Above is video of WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels talking to the camera after he came out of retirement today at WWE Crown Jewel to team with Triple H for a win over Kane and The Undertaker.

"So, whatcha gonna do when the power of Hulkamania and the "Crown Jewel" run wild on you, brother?!"

WWE then went one step further, though, by flipping the bird to fans and closing the show out with three objectively bad matches seemingly booked with the sole intent of trolling viewers. If WWE wants to keep Lesnar around until WrestleMania then those dates could get in the way of his UFC training. Is it still Daniel Cormier?

Just think of the possibilities.
