Warcraft III remaster announced at BlizzCon 2018

Diablo Immortal is co-developed by Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase, who in addition to having developed some of the most successful mobile games in history, has been a longtime partner of Blizzard in China. While they definitely got that, it absolutely was not the Diablo game that they wanted and envisaged.

Near the end of the opening ceremony for Blizzard's annual BlizzCon convention Friday, the company announced that the next game in the series would debut on a completely new platform: mobile devices. In time-old internet fashion, they've resorted to a flurry of mocking and angry threads across Twitter and Reddit, as well as smashing that dislike button on YouTube. It seems that Blizzard and Nintendo have settled on one of the game's most pitiable creatures as opposed to literally any other character like the kickass humans, murderous demons, or mighty angels.

"Designed to be a living, breathing, and constantly evolving experience, Diablo Immortal will regularly introduce new storylines, new playable character classes, new loot, and all-new challenges-which you can face side-by-side with your friends.or foolishly choose to confront on your own", Blizzard said. At Blizzcon 2018 today, Blizzard unveiled Warcraft 3: Reforged, a complete remaster of the original game. Gamers will be able to play as a Barbarian, Wizard, Monk, Demon Hunter, Necromancer, or a Crusader, which will all feature the usual skillsets and abilities that Diablo gamers will be used to. There is no official launch date set by Blizzard. We feel that they're passionate about the franchise ... and they put their heart into it just as we put our heart into it. According to a report by GameSpot, "buying it will entitle you to content in other Blizzard games, including Diablo III, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and World of Warcraft".

"There are actually two distinct teams", Adham said. I know our community here, there's a concern that we are focused on this instead of that. "We still have multiple Diablo teams working on multiple unannounced Diablo projects". Thanks to the Switch's portability, you can play the game wherever you are.

Looks like Diablo has entered the mobile realm with Diablo Immortal.

The backlash has even manifested in-person at BlizzCon, with one attendee sarcastically asking the Diablo developers if the game's announcement was "an out-of-season April Fool's joke". The much awaited recreation of the massively multiplayer online role-playing gaming (MMORPG) is out in Summer 2019.
