Apple's Confusing Mac Lineup: MacBook Air vs. MacBook

Apple has unleashed its all-new iPad Pro-2018 in the October 30th event in NY. The publication recently praised the iPad Pro 2018's incredible facial recognition feature, its sleek new look, the inclusion of a USB-C port, and the awesome experience of its new edge-to-edge display care of the removal of the home button.

Working from 100 percent recycled aluminum, the Air contains a couple Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports and a headphone jack.

Arguably the most popular reveal at the showcase, the brand new iPad Pro contains one of the largest ever screens seen on the device. Though the device is yet to reach all around the world, we got our hands on its stock wallpaper set.

With the upgrades to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, Apple has eliminated the home button and made the screen edge to edge. In this post, we have posted the download link.

The central element of the new iPad Pro models is the liquid retina display, which Apple calls edge-to-edge display despite visible bezels surrounding the display.

For the record, the single-core performance of the A12X Bionic chipset inside the iPad Pro also tops the latest-generation of 12-inch MacBook (3,927 score), as well as the iMac Pro (5,021 score) which launched late previous year. The graphics chip also pumps out around 2x more power, all without compromising the 10-hour battery life every iPad has gotten.

Other updates include a new keyboard and cover that supports multiple viewing angles for the tablet, and a new Apple Pencil. The Hi9 Plus comes at just $199, a fifth of what the iPad Pro costs.

In a report on CNBC by Jon Fortt, the new iPad Pro 2018 is described as nearly looking like a laptop.

There will certainly be other USB-C hubs designed for the 2018 iPad Pro. You can plug as many flash drives or hard drives as you want into the iPad Pro's USB-C port, and nothing will happen. But the new iPad Pro uses the same mobile operating system as the last iPad Pro and the one before it. If you like the wallpapers, download and enjoy. Apparently, it so high that you can even skip buying the 15-inch MacBook Pro that came out in July this year.

What's keeping the remaining folks from seeing the iPad as a legitimate PC? Speaking of accessories, Engadgets review was written on the Smart Keyboard Folio.

The new version of AutoCAD can be brought directly to the field, allowing for onsite project edits.

The bottom line is that if you're someone who uses the iPad for heavy lifting, this will not disappoint.

Touch ID has also been removed from this tablet, though Face ID works so well, you won't miss it. Apple has even re-engineered facial recognition to work from landscape mode, so you don't even need to move this tablet around - or move your head around - to be recognised.
