The Grizzlies sent guard MarShon Brooks and swingman Wayne Selden Jr. plus the draft picks to Chicago. In the deal, the Bulls also receive the Grizzlies 2019 and 2020 second-round picks.

In just 12 games played this season due to injury, Dunn is averaging 13.5 points, six assists, and five rebounds in 30 minutes of action per game.

Selden, 24, is averaging 5.4 points in 14.2 minutes across 32 games.

The Memphis Grizzlies have acquired wing Justin Holiday from the Chicago Bulls. He's averaging 11.6 points and shooting 35.9 percent on 3-pointers this season.

"Justin was my guy.he's helped me alot through learning, y'know playing similar positions so, it's tough to see that but we all gotta be ready and it's the next man up type of deal". Holiday previously played for the Bulls, New York Knights, Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks and the Philadelphia 76ers.

It's not a superstar return for the Bulls to be sure, but as long as Chicago plans on actually using those picks as something besides a foolhardy cash grab they'll help with the rebuild.

With the move, the Bulls need to waive a player and Wojnarowski is reporting that it will likely be guard Cameron Payne that is let go. That closes the book on a disappointing Chicago tenure for Payne, the centerpiece of the Bulls' 2017 deadline deal sending Taj Gibson to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Trading Holiday for two second-round draft picks is not what many would have liked to hear.

This season, he made 29 appearances with the Grizzlies.
