Golden Globes Red Carpet: A Look At The Fashion

On Sunday night, Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg hosted the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards, which was broadcast live on NBC from the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Los Angeles, CA, on January 6, 2019.

It was all going so well for Rami Malek at this year's Golden Globes.

Oh won best performance by an actress in a drama television series for her role in the BBC's Killing Eve, becoming the first Asian woman to take home the award in nearly 40 years, the Independent also notes. It won best film, comedy or musical, and best screenplay.

"I discovered something working on this film, and it's something called alchemy, that you are essentially creating a character but you are really becoming the character", Gaga said about her first role as a lead movie actress.

"I have no idea what is happening", she said, looking stunned (or maybe just mock-stunned) upon returning to her hosting duties, her Golden Globe still in her hand.

Bale joked, "Thank you to Satan for giving me inspiration for this role".

FYI: Sandra is wearing a Stella McCartney dress, Casadei shoes, and Forevermark jewelry.

Burnett described how she first fell in love with movies when she would see as many as eight a week with her grandmother, who raised her.

Meanwhile, according to Betway, Olivia Coleman is one lead runner at 9/4 for the Best Actress Oscar following her Golden Globe win for her performance in The Favourite. Alfonso Cuaron still won best director and the Mexican-born filmmaker's movie won best foreign language film.

A year after the Globes were awash in a sea of black and #MeToo discussion replaced fashion chatter, the red carpet largely returned to more typical colours and conversation.

Accepting the Golden Globe for best drama motion picture, Bohemian Rhapsody producer Graham King avoided mentioning Singer-but Twitter users noted the omission. Some attendees wore ribbons that read TIMESUPx2, to highlight the second year of the gender equality campaign that last year organized the Globes black-clad demonstration. "Green Book" focuses on the relationship between famed jazz pianist Don Shirley and his bodyguard and driver Tony Vallelonga, and the family of Shirley has recently come out against the film, saying the musician is not depicted accurately. Oh also won a Globe herself, for her performance in the BBC America drama series Killing Eve.

The NBC broadcast dipped despite an enviable lead-in from the nail-biter NFL Wild Card game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Chicago Bears. And FX's "The Americans" won for best drama series in its sixth and final season. We want to hear from you.
