Hyatt Announces Participation in Google Assistant Pilot Program

For the United States consumers, Google is introducing a couple of new features in the Assistant that will enable them to do a lot more than just search for flights. The company announced its Lenovo Smart Clock Tuesday, a small device created to replace your digital alarm clock with a tiny four-inch touchscreen that gets to know you and your daily routines.

"Wait, Google Assistant already works with Google Maps, right?"

OK, it's a small coaster, but after a couple years of attending CES, between the Google vending machines, the Google branded monorail, and a bunch of new features for the Google Assistant, it feels like Google is flexing on the world's biggest trade show in a way it never has before.

"Starting to roll out today, the Assistant can help you navigate in Google Maps for Android and iOS".

Google at CES 2019 announced it is bringing several new features to the Google Assistant and showed off some cool devices that it says will be using the voice assistant.

When Google Assistant arrives, you will have to choose between this and Alexa on each Sonos device you have. Say "Hey Google, be my French interpreter", to get real-time spoken or written translations to help you with local languages. "With just your voice, you'll be able to share your ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) with friends and family, reply to text messages, play music and podcasts, search for places along your route, add a new stop and auto-punctuate your message", the company said in a statement.

- ”Thanks to their open ecosystem, 2019 Smart TVs are able to have seamless interactions with Amazons Alexa and Google Assistant. But it's great that Sonos is even contemplating breaking down the voice assistant barriers. "We're also adding support for Google Keep,, Bring! and Todoist, when you want to keep track of your itinerary with notes and lists in the Google Assistant", Google said. Google says they've developed this feature keeping in mind tourists and people who travel often to various countries and need to communicate with local stuff at hotels during check-in or understand local rules and schedules. Domestic passengers in the USA can say, "Hey Google, check in to my flight" on Android or iOS and Assistant will take care of the necessary steps. "The complexity of the integration has meant that it has taken this long", a spokesperson at Sonos told us.
