When the woman said, "Lovely lady, you are!"

Wowing the crowd as she arrived, the gorgeous pregnant Duchess turned heads in a shimmering navy, sequinned dress by Roland Mouret and a bracelet thought to have belonged to Princess Diana.

The duchess toured the charity's north-west London headquarters in Kensal Green to mark last week's announcement that she has become the organisation's patron.

Meghan just laughed it off and said "I'll take it!" before moving onto greeting the next person.

Meghan rescued her dog Guy from a shelter in 2015 and she and Harry are believed to have adopted a second pup a year ago.

What do you think of Meghan's outfit?

The duchess picked up the dog when she spotted it was shivering and clutched it to her chest when she chatted to Mayhew staff who told her about the charity's projects in India and Afghanistan.

Her other dog Guy, a Beagle, did make the journey and is now part of the family and has joined the Sussex's other pet, a black Labrador.

The Duchess of Sussex was a vision at the glitzy affair in a $7,400 design by the French designer, a good friend who has dressed her on many occasions.

16, Markle visited animal charity Mayhew, dressing her baby bump in a figure-hugging cream H&M maternity dress and a beige Armani coat, completing her look with a Stella McCartney tote and nude suede slingback heels. The organization's goal is to better the lives of animals and people in communities they live in, both in London and internationally, through programs that work to reduce the number of animals in need including community and educational initiatives. Meghan has taken up the post of Patron to support the education and animal welfare work of Mayhew.
