Sixers Roster & Starting Lineup After Tobias Harris Trade

On Tuesday night, ESPN reported that the Sixers had agreed to trade a young player, some good picks, and an expiring contract for a major offensive weapon, whatever Boban is, and an underrated stretch four.

With the National Basketball Association trade deadline on Thursday (8pm GMT), teams in both the Eastern and Western Conferences are looking to fine-tune their rosters for the remainder of the regular season and beyond.

With the trade, the 76ers are now looking to be front runners for the Eastern division.

While you were sleeping, the Sixers on Wednesday morning made a blockbuster deal before sunrise.

Rather, the LA Clippers have sent star forward Tobias Harris to the Philadelphia 76ers for Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, Landry Shamet and two first-round picks, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The Clippers re-stocked the roster with pieces for the future. He averaged eight points for Philadelphia, playing in an average 20 minutes per game. Averaging almost 20 points and eight rebounds per game, he's now one of the Sixers best forwards alongside the Big 3 of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler, a situation he's clearly excited about.

Harris along with Butler and Redick are scheduled to become free agents after the season.

For the Sixers, this is the second big-name acquisition for first-year Sixers General Manager Elton Brand, who snagged Jimmy Butler earlier this season from the Minnesota Timberwolves. They'll have big decisions in the summer, when Butler and Harris are both due for free agency, but for now, they're going to be really good. According to Wojnarowski, while two of the picks are for the second round, another third is the 76ers' 2020 first-round pick and the fourth is the biggie - Miami's unprotected 2021 first-round pick.
