After his deactivation in Week 17, and subsequent rumors of new drama surrounding him, Antonio Brown and the Pittsburgh Steelers appear headed for a parting of ways.

"Thank you SteelerNation for a big 9 years", Brown wrote on Twitter.

Brown will not become a free agent until 2022 under his current contract with the Steelers, although trade talks have circulated heavily since the end of the 2018-19 National Football League season. While the Vikings won't be one of these teams since they're set at receiver with Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, the other three members of the NFC North may be interested in acquiring the Steelers pass catcher this year. Of course, the Steelers aren't going to give away their star receiver for free, which means the asking price is going to be high.

The four-time All-Pro signed a four-year, $68 million contract extension with the Steelers in 2017.

The 30-year-old Brown has been rumored to be unhappy in Pittsburgh since he was benched for the regular-season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals following a practice dispute with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Might the Denver Broncos be a potential home for the seven-time Pro Bowler?

It's unclear what the Steelers would be looking for in an Antonio Brown trade, but the franchise would likely be seeking a good draft pick or two.

Also on Tuesday, the 30-year-old was found guilty of a reckless driving charge from November stemming from an incident during which he drove his vehicle in excess of 100 miles per hour.

He finished the season with 104 receptions for 1,294 yards and 15 touchdowns. The woman did not press charges and police have taken no further action.
